ANOTHER Altering a Recipe for Health

You don't always have to make a recipe exactly as it is written! In this recipe, the dressing contained oil and a sweetener I didn't want to use. I simply replaced the sweetener with 4 pitted dates and used 1/4 cup water instead of the oil. I just blended the dressing ingredients in the Vitamix until very smooth. It came out perfect for my husband's lunches this week!

Here is the original recipe. It's a great one! Make sure to carefully read the recipe--there is only 8 oz. of whole wheat pasta and 24 oz. (2 bags) of broccoli slaw (plus all the other ingredients!).
