This is a wonderful video, Amy. I have a feeling that many of the folks who advise people to eat until you're full, or to "eat as much as you want," have never had an unhealthy relationship with food, and/or have never been overweight. Your own personal experience is such a valuable "reality check" that while it's possible to go that route at first, a stall in weight loss (before reaching a healthy weight/body composition) is a good reason to reassess the volume and/or total calories consumed. Thank you for sharing your experience.
What you said made so much sense and I thank you for that. One little problem I had was that I couldn't hear you very well - I got my husband (I'm not techy) to fiddle around with the computer without much luck : ( I always used to say of myself that (I imagine)I felt like an alcoholic with the first drink when I'm about to go on a bender of unhealthy food. And you're so right, when a food addict is told that they can eat as much as they like as long as the food is healthy it's a recipe for disaster.
